myRWA ("we", "us") helps residents and managers run their housing societies. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
- Account info — phone number, name, flat / house number, floor or block, society you belong to.
- Activity — notices you read or post, complaints you file, events you RSVP to, bookings you make, marketplace listings you create.
- Device info — phone OS, app version, and a push-notification token so we can alert you about new notices, visitor approvals, and SOS broadcasts.
- Optional photo uploads — when you attach photos to a complaint, marketplace listing, or community board post.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to advertisers.
- We don't share your phone number with other residents (only your name and flat are visible inside your society directory).
- We don't track your location in the background.
Who can see what
- Residents in your society can see your name, flat, and any posts you make (notices, marketplace listings, community board posts).
- Admins of your society can additionally see your contact details for billing and emergency contact.
- Visitors and vendors outside your society cannot see anything about you.
AI features
When you opt into Hindi, we send the text of notices, complaints, events, and marketplace posts to Google's Gemini service for translation. Translations are cached on our servers so the same content isn't translated twice. The text itself never leaves your society's data scope.
Your rights
- Delete your account — Profile → Delete Account removes your user record, posts you authored, and your push token.
- Switch societies — leave one society and join another via invite code; previous society's data stays in that society's scope.
- Export your data — email rozgaarai1@gmail.com and we'll send your raw records within 7 days.
